This practice rejoices in the fact that we have been given a magnificent form. When you combine powerful breath with focused movement, healing can happen. I believe this interaction glorifies the Creator of our bodies, not the creation itself.
I talk about prayer and meditation. I might use scripture and the name of my Lord but this is not a place for preaching. This is a place for grace, love, joy and healing. And laughter. Hopefully lots of laughter.
We're all different and this practice is safe for everyone. No prior knowledge, body type, strength or flexibility required. All are welcome.
Each class should be fun and challenging. More important than pushing your body into the desired shape is the breath. This is the movement that flows off your mat and has the power to transform your life from one of anxiety to patience.
